Michigan and Florida don’t count

This primary mess needs to end. As I mentioned before having primaries where the votes don’t count is a waste time and a waste of taxpayers money.

Having the primaries count after all is even worse. This is far from fair. Those who did go and vote did so knowing that their vote most likely wouldn’t count. Many stayed home and didn’t vote for just this reason. Now to say, “well OK we’ll count the vote after all” won’t give those a chance to vote who stayed home. Fight to the End and the Consequences

If the Democratic nomination processes is fought until the end it may seriously damage the Democratic chances of winning the general election. We are taught not to give up, to fight to the end , to not loose hope. That depends, however, what you are fighting for.

Rethinking how candidates are chosen… again

We are now deep into the “primary season”. How have the primaries and caucuses done in choosing a candidate? Well to sum it up… Poorly!

The Republican candidate is pretty much decided, and John McCain can start consolidating his campaign. He can also concentrate now on attacking the democrats. The potential Democratic candidates, however, are still slugging it out. They must still invest much time and money in their primary campaigns and are still going after each other. Hillary lost focus and lost South Carolina

Hillary’s veered off course and is in danger of losing the nomination process. Her aggressive attacks on her opponent Barack Obama, which I’m sure she hoped would boost her, backfired. Of course there are other factors that led to Barack’s win in SC, but her sniping certainly repelled many potential supporters.
