Barack Obama Ad Convinces

I was just going to digg this, but after listening to it I decided it needed a prominent place on the blog here.

I am more convinced than ever that Obama is the best choice for the United States.

The 2008 Presidential Race Thus Far – an Unusual Election

Taking a step back to look at the presidential race it is clear that the 2008 presidential election is quite unusual and already full of surprises.

Most surprising is the abrupt end of former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s bid for the Republican nomination and the emergence of John McCain as the presumptive Republican Nominee.

The success of Barack Obama also comes as a surprise. It is not as much of a surprise as Giuliani’s failed campaign, but although he was seen as a strong candidate, the fact that he has put Hillary Clinton on the ropes was not expected. Michigan and Florida don’t count

This primary mess needs to end. As I mentioned before having primaries where the votes don’t count is a waste time and a waste of taxpayers money.

Having the primaries count after all is even worse. This is far from fair. Those who did go and vote did so knowing that their vote most likely wouldn’t count. Many stayed home and didn’t vote for just this reason. Now to say, “well OK we’ll count the vote after all” won’t give those a chance to vote who stayed home.
