Palin and the Republican Misleading the Voters on Coal Power

Either Palin’s got it all wrong again or she is purposely misleading the American public. She accuses Barack Obama of talking about „bankrupting the coal industry“. This is not what he said. She makes it sound like he is against coal powered energy. This is wrong. In the very interview[mp3] she is using for her assertions, he clearly states, „if technology allows us to use coal in a clear why we should use it.“ Continue Reading »

Obama’s Tax Plan Will Lower Your Taxes

McCain either has not read Obama’s tax plan, does not understand it or he is purposly misleading the American public. Obama’s tax plan clearly states that he intends to lower taxes. You can even calculate how much of tax cut you will get on his homepage. Even the independent “Tax Policy Center” has calculated that Obama’s plans will reduce the taxes payed. McCain wants the voters to think otherwise. His statements, though are false.

Rethinking how candidates are chosen… again

We are now deep into the primary season. How have the primaries and caucuses done in choosing a candidate? Well to sum it up… Poorly!

The Republican candidate is pretty much decided, and John McCain can start consolidating his campaign. He can also concentrate now on attacking the democrats. The potential Democratic candidates, however, are still slugging it out. They must still invest much time and money in their primary campaigns and are still going after each other.
